UberRaum Architects were appointed to redesign the existing St Mary’s Church and community centre near to Kings Cross, London. Through the use of new openings and interior interventions such as joinery pieces, we were able to achieve a warm and welcoming series of spaces for the church community to use, whilst also bringing more light into the lower ground floor rooms creating a brighter, more uplifting space. This church centred around a tranquil courtyard now provide a quiet sanctuary in the heart of London.
