This week, Markus and Daniela were made Freeman of the City of London.
Our profound gratitude goes to the Lord Mayor Prof. Michael Mainelli and the Lady Mayoress Elisabeth Mainelli for being part of this journey and for their support. We would also like to thank The Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects for their trust, especially Chris Williamson, Chris Dyson and Chris Bicknell (3 times lucky 😉).
For the Guildhall ceremony we had great company in Robert Greer, Director of Paye Stoneworks. Looking forward to the Sheep Drive... 🐑 🐑 🐑

After an incredible journey of over 16 years, Seifermann handed over the completed Grade I-listed Residence to the German Ambassador, Mr Miguel Berger.
The finished project is the result of many brains, many hands, and many hearts. And therein lies the real beauty.
Together with our collaborators & contractors we are very proud of the result: the re-established grandeur and the newly gained confidence of the building.

Last night was the 53rd annual reception of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce, hosted in the iconic OXO Tower.
Following re-election as a board member to the chamber, I'm incredibly excited about the next 3 years and the positive impact we can make towards the UK-German business relations.

We are super happy to announce that Simon Jonsson has joined our Seifermann Group of Companies as a Board Advisor!
He is a former KPMG Partner in the UK and the Vice President of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce in London.

The Bavarian Ball!

For one magical evening, the spirit of Bavaria was brought to The Mansion House.
With a foot-stomping oompah band, a feast fit for a king, and plenty of authentic Bavarian beer, The Lord Mayor Michael Mainelli and The Lady Mayoress Elisabeth Mainelli were hosts to a truly unforgettable evening.
It was an incredible honour to be a part of the committee, putting this event together.

This week we had artist, Marenka Gabeler come into the office for a lunch-time art session with the SFM team.
A huge thank you to Marenka for taking the time and introducing the team to a range of new artistic mediums and pushing them to unleash their creativity and collaboration.

We have expanded and created a new company that specialises in event design and management – SPACE OPERA.
Based on the success of our architectural projects, our clients have also entrusted us with delivering their private and corporate events.
SPACE OPERA’s creative team is led by the three founders Daniela, Markus and Luke. With a background in film, architecture and design we specialise in transforming spaces and crafting experiences that are not only visually stunning, but also evoke emotions that last a lifetime.

On one of our most prestigious projects in Central London we have the pleasure of collaborating with the wonderful artist, Kristjana S Williams.
Seifermann have been working on the renovation of this Grade I listed building since 2022.
With the help of Kristjana's fantastic creativity, we are bringing a new sense of life and a much needed splash of colour to this historic building.

We are honoured to have assisted as Co-chairs of the committee, and in the production and design for the evening.
The event will feature a drinks reception, Bavarian feast and a foot-stomping 5 piece band. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting The Lord Mayor's Appeal.

In a galaxy far, far away!
The Algarve was the breath-taking backdrop to a jaw dropping, fully immersive show this year, designed and managed by the Seifermann Team.
Together with our creative partners Katherine Mills, Spy Manor, Aston Martin Lisboa and Lotus, we created and produced a bespoke event, blending Space, Performance and Film – Sky Base One.
Portugal News called it “a first for Portugal… and perhaps the world!”

Best Workspace 2024
Our JAB office project in Paddington has won the international award for ‘Best Workspace 2024’
A jury from German publishing house Callwey Verlag have selected the best office spaces from around the world.
We are over the moon that our design for the investment group’s Headquarters has made it to the top! The project will be featured in the new Callwey book published in March 2024.

German Embassy Project
We had the great honour to tour the German Ambassador His Excellency Miguel Berger on our biggest construction site in London:
The German Embassy on Belgrave Square. Together with Gardiner & Theobald we are leading the design team to carefully refurbish the Grade I listed building in collaboration with Westminster City Council and Historic England.
A big thanks to our main contractor Coniston for their incredible work and the German Government for giving us the opportunity to deliver this high-profile project over the next year.

We are proud supporters of DKMS, one of the most significant organizations in the world fighting blood cancer.
Last night we had the great honour to attend the DKMS Gala in London’s Natural History Museum, with a special performance by Placido Domingo.

With the inclusion of a biophilic eco system, living wall, and natural materials, the new workplace provides the tranquil atmosphere of a green oasis in the heart of London.
