Seifermann Architects were appointed to build Medneo’s first UK centre within the prestigious Harley Street Medical Area.

Medneo is one of the largest MRI service providers across Europe, with over 15 centres in Germany and Switzerland. The London project has brought their franchise into the UK healthcare market. Together with the client, we have designed their first UK centre according to UK healthcare standards and guidelines.

The main challenge for this project was the logistics of getting the MRI scanner into the building, due to the size and imposed loads of the equipment. By working closely with Siemens UK from an early stage in the design, the logistics of delivering the MRI scanner were achieved on time and on budget. The medical imaging centre holds a Siemens 3T MRI scanner and associated facilities across two floors.
