German House, London

THE PROJECT

The Grade I listed German House forms part of the grand terraces facing Belgrave Square. The facade had sustained severe damage from heavy weathering and was in a poor condition prior to this project. Substantial works were carried out to reinstate the historical grandeur of the building including detailed technical analysis of the façade and the restoration of all historical features. The phasing concept was carefully developed to allow for the building to remain in occupation during construction, while meeting high level security requirements.
